I bought this to replace the factory throw off on a Ludwig snare that came with my kit. The snare itself is good, but the throw off was junk. This was the upgrade I was hoping for! Came with everything I needed to install. I did have to slightly drill out one of my holes to get everything to line up. No big deal, just be careful! This thing is buttery smooth and I love the sound with all three different tensions. Couldn't be happier with it!
