Let me start with the good, it’s delicate, very soft and beautiful in color, so if you want something for decorative use this item probably can’t be beat. However, jewelry wearers beware. I didn’t recall reading a review on how small it is until today when I went back and checked, however from the pictures I saw before ordering, the item appeared much larger. I see on my packaging it states a throw, however I would have never paid almost $100 - for a throw. I was expecting more of a blanket like coverage. I’m not sure if I’ll be returning it because it came from China and it would be more of a hassle to try and return.I’ve had my eye on a chunky knit blanket for a while and I searched many different sites and listings. This was by far one of the more affordable listings. It’s just as pictured and the ivory color is exactly what I was looking for. It’s very chunky, thick, and soft. One thing to note though is that this is more of a decorative blanket. I’m not sure how well it’ll hold up if used like a regular blanket. It also sheds a bit, but it’s not too noticeable on our ivory colored couch. It was worth the buy though.This chunky knit blanket seemed like it was put together with cotton balls. You barely touch it, and it comes apart like a cotton ball. It is 1 giant braided cotton ball. What a big waste of money.I’ve had this blanket for about a month now. It peels pretty frequently with any handling. Thought the weight and feel of it are amazing I find myself staying away from it just so it will last and I would have red yarn all over my bed and hair.I had been looking to buy this type of blanket for months for Christmas presents for my granddaughters. Out of the packaging, they were exquisite but!!! I bought 2 of these and within 2 days they are shedding, pilling and looking very mangled. While they may be warm and thick, they do not keep their beautiful woven looks for long. If you're looking for blankets to complete an ensemble for a room that will get very little, or that occasional guest use, this might be the blanket to buy, but, for everyday use, these blankets are high maintenance as you will be vacuuming constantly because of the shedding!! They do not keep up their beautiful woven looks because of the pilling and they look very mangled! I would be returning these immediately except the girls love that they are warm and soft. I give it a 1 star and the next time I buy one of these blankets I will be doing more research on where they are made, what they are made of and how they are to be cleaned (these have to be dry cleaned).I like the blanket. Not as big as I thought it should be for the price I paid.I asked for the pink blanket for Christmas, the color and softness are wonderful. It is so comfortable to sleep under. However, almost immediately it began to shed and pill. And I had it all over my clothes. I want to love it, but it is disappointing. I bought my mom the dark gray. Hers still looks good. It is at the foot of the bed in our guest room, untouched. I don't think this blanket will work for everyday, regular use. For only decoration it may be fine.Stretches out of shape easily so you can’t really use as a blanket to throw over someone-just use as an accent decor over chair, on bed or on a blanket ladder.
